“The entire process of painting, from concept to completion, is compelling and entirely enjoyable. Very few other activities are as engrossing and rewarding as making art. When something in my life is bothering me, if I go into the studio, it recedes. The creative process brings me back into balance.”

Lori's paintings have been accepted into national and international juried exhibitions. Most recently, Watercolor USA 2024, Transparent Watercolor Society of America 2024, California Watercolor Association 2024.

Lori has taught watercolor painting in private and group class settings as well as art workshops on exploring watercolors and color theory. She has also been a frequent guest artist for schools and art clubs.
